In ancient Egyptian times,
women were seen and honored
as higher and holier than men.
Women were seen as mothers of all.
The ancients believed
that when a man
achieves a great deal of knowledge,
spirituality and power,
he would be allowed to wear a long hair wig
to symbolize that he had reached a certain level equal to a woman.
Powerful women in those times would take pride in their body’s, minds and sexuality. Many powerful women in ancient Egypt would enjoy a much given and accepted freedoms intellectually, spiritually and sexually.
Although society has evolved since those times, many women today continue to offer endless strength and protection to those they love.
Hence the old saying: “Behind every successful man, there is a powerful woman”
