Ghislaine Maxwell has requested that files from a 2016 court case remain sealed.

The documents related to a long-settled civil defamation case against Maxwell by Virginia Giuffre, who said Epstein kept her as a “sex slave” with Maxwell’s help.

Her request was denied in court, Maxwell exclaimed that it would be cited as a threat to her trial being a fair one.

It is said that It will be addressed on Thursday whether or not Maxwell will be moved into the general public pretrial section of the jail where she is currently being held in Brooklyn.

Maxwell is currently undergoing 24 hour surveillance and has regular body scans, it’s said that this is due to what occurred when Epstein was imprisoned and allegedly found hanging in his cell.

September the 22nd is the date that the court will hear oral arguments but her criminal trial won’t proceed until July of next year.
