Covid jabs for children aged five to 11 aren’t yet approved in the United States, but that hasn’t stopped states from placing orders for a huge number of it currently awaiting approval by the Food and Drug Administration.

Up to 28 million young Americans would become eligible for the jabs once the FDA gives it the green light. Yet health experts expect uptake to be slow as only a third of parents plan to jab their children when it is made available, according to research conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation.
